Jody Keisner

Jody Keisner (she/her/hers) is the author of the memoir Under My Bed and Other Essays. Her essays have appeared in Fourth Genre, Los Angeles Review of Books, American Literary Review, and elsewhere. Her essay “Runaway Mother” was selected as a notable Best American Essay 2022 and she is the recipient of a 2024 NAC Individual Arts Fellowship. Jody is a professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and editor-in-chief of The Linden Review.
