Cynthia Zhou is a 18-year-old artist, designer, and poet currently attending studying design and cognitive science at the University of Pennsylvania. Her work—which revolves around stories of equity and themes of memory + identity—has been exhibited in the Kennedy Center in DC, as well as in NYC, San Francisco, Miami, and elsewhere. She is a 2018 National YoungArts Foundation Finalist and was recently recognized at the White House as a 2019 Presidential Scholar in the Arts. She loves amphibians, shiny stickers, and the em dash.
