“Loss and Hope” by Yuzhe Tian

Yuzhe “Charlie” Tian is a student at Williams College invested in Art History and Economics. Since he could remember, painting and illustration have been his hobbies. He used to spend hours doodling things he now can barely recognize and his creative impulses never faded as he aged. Too often does he find his mind wondering beyond what his eyes can see, where art became his vision, the way through which he records the spontaneous overflow of his thoughts, and hold in his palm the veracity of moments, the very memories that prove his existence, that else would be lost forever in time.
