Kathy Morris has been image-making for close to seven decades. She grew up in New York City, received her MFA from Cornell University, and lives near Ithaca NY. She had a career in college teaching, exhibited widely, and has been a fellow at numerous artist colonies. Grants received include two Regional Photography awards from Light Work in Syracuse NY, and a recent Special Opportunity Stipend from the Community Arts Partnership in Ithaca (which made possible the video collaboration “The Collage Sketchbooks of Kathy Morris” (www.kathymorris.net/collage-sketchbooks). She is currently working on a collage memoir. Art and yoga are the two wings of her life. A Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, she teaches yoga and meditation in the Cornell Prison Education Program.
