Edison William is an artist who invents lush worlds by manipulating and combining his own photographs. He aims to transform and challenge the tenets of photographic capture, by reassembling straightforward elements, creating whimsical and believable escapes into surreal moments. His detailed collages enable the viewer to viscerally experience these worlds, full of passion, tension, and wandering souls. They experience a travelogue for sleepwalkers. His romanticized versions allow figures to exist in both complex and minimal spaces, while the biorhythms of nature cycle around them, to anchor the compositions and root them firmly in an enhanced portrayal of naturalism.
