Shannon Salter
Shannon Salter’s writing has appeared in publications such as Desert Companion, The Dodge, Denver Quarterly, Interim, The Bitter Oleander, The Desert Report and Las Vegas Writes. She received her MFA in poetry from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she is currently a PhD candidate in English. Shannon lives in rural Nevada, not far from Death Valley National Park, and is an advocate for the great Mojave Desert. You can read about her recent poetic action at MojaveGreen.org.
