Announcing the Winners of the 2021 Adroit Prizes for Poetry and Prose

The editors of The Adroit Journal are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2021 Adroit Prizes for Poetry & Prose, selected by Carl Phillips (poetry) and Samantha Hunt (prose).

The Adroit Prizes are awarded annually to two students of secondary or undergraduate status. We’re fortunate to receive exceptional work from emerging writers in high school and college, and the best of the best are recognized by the Adroit Prizes.

Winners are awarded $200, and runners-up and finalists receive a copy of their judges’ latest book. Additionally, the winners, runners-up, and finalists will be featured in our October issue, available online soon. We can’t wait to share the work of these fantastic student writers with you!

Until then, please join us in congratulating the students recognized by the 2021 Adroit Prizes for Poetry and Prose.
