Kat Tarbet is from Tampa, Florida and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, with a concentration in photography from the University of North Florida, Jacksonville. She went on to receive the “Outstanding Photography Graduate” award for the Class of 2020. Kat is a studio based photographer, known for her elaborate tableaus that are staged before the camera. Her signature photographic style is characterized by surreal imagery and themes surrounding identity and existentialism.
