Michaela Anchan

Michaela Anchan is a writer from New Zealand, currently living in Hamburg, Germany, with previous long stints in Singapore and Mumbai. She holds an MFA in Writing from the Vermont College of Arts (2021) and continues to study literature through Massey University of New Zealand. Her first manuscript was recently longlisted for the Michael Gifkens Prize and she is currently working on her second. She also writes short fiction and essays about motherhood, identity, immigration, and has had work published in Inverted Syntax, Takahē, and World Literature Today, among others.
