Cora Schipa is a student at the College of Charleston, where she plans to graduate in 2022 with a BA in Creative Writing and a BS in Sociology. As her senior thesis from Charleston County School of the Arts in 2018, she published a book of poetry and fiction titled Feels Like Falling and graduated a Creative Writing major. Since then, she’s received awards such as the 2020 Coker Student Prize in Fiction and the 2020 McCray Nickens Poetry Prize, and she currently works as submissions manager of the College of Charleston’s art and writing magazine, Miscellany.
