Peter LaBerge grew up in Connecticut. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with his B.A. in English and Consumer Psychology. He founded the Adroit Journal as a high school sophomore in 2010, and founded the Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program in 2013.
He has been recognized—from TED to Teen Vogue—for his work as a writer and publisher. His work has appeared in Best New Poets, Crazyhorse, Harvard Review, Indiana Review, Iowa Review, Kenyon Review Online, Pleiades, and Tin House, among others. He is the recipient of a fellowship from Bucknell University’s Stadler Center for Poetry, where he studied with G.C. Waldrep, Mary Szybist, and Dana Levin.
In 2014, Peter earned his certificate in Business Analytics, Financial Accounting, and Managerial Economics from Harvard Business School’s HBX Program. With his best bud Talin Tahajian, he co-edited the anthology Poets on Growth (Math Paper Press, 2015), featuring new work and essays by Richard Siken, Wendy Barker, and Ocean Vuong, among other top-notch poets.
