Meagan Washington is a poet and Houston native. She received her BA in English from the University of Houston and an MFA from Hunter College. As an NYC transplant, Meagan teaches composition and writing about literature at Hunter College. Her work has appeared in Bodega, Kweli Journal, The Poetry Project Newsletter, and The Recluse.
