Heather Bowlan is a writer and academic consultant living in Philadelphia. She is a former editor for BOAAT Press and Raleigh Review, and her poetry and criticism have appeared in Feminisms in Motion, New Ohio Review, Nashville Review, Day One, Interim, the Ploughshares blog, and elsewhere. She has received an Academy of American Poets Award and fellowships from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Vermont Studio Center.  Her editing and consulting work includes academic research and publication, digital marketing and content creation, and social media and crowdfunding
