Harley Phleger is a wilderness canoe trip guide, musician, poet, and San Franciscan, currently living in Los Angeles. His poetry has been featured in the student literary journals Vantage Point and Crossroads, and is forthcoming from The Pinch Journal. He studied briefly at University College Dublin, and graduated from the University of Vermont, where he was awarded the Benjamin B. Wainwright Prize for Poetry. In addition to poetry, Harley researches and writes family histories and trip guides, and edits work of all kinds. When he isn’t writing, Harley leads multi-week, traditional-style canoe trips in northern Canada.
