
Gretchen Heyer grew up as the child of Christian missionaries in countries of Africa. Her essays can be found in The Florida Review, Compass Rose, Psychoanalytic Perspectives, The Journal of Analytical Psychology, book chapters in Animals as the Third in Relational Psychotherapy and Celebrating the Wounded Healer Psychotherapist, and poems in Concho River Review, Juked and Adanna. She writes and works as a Jungian psychoanalyst in Houston.
