Self Contained” by Chloe Barreau

 

 

Chloe Barreau is a seventeen-year-old from Hong Kong. Her hobbies include experimenting with clay, painting, poetry and blogging. She is fascinated by the most basic of containers, our skin, and how its compression can simultaneously represent confinement, intimacy and adaptability. She founded and launched Hong Kong Art Symposium, an annual event inspiring students to tap into creative expression. Her work has been featured in Scribbles Magazine and Germ Magazine, and she will be attending Stanford University in the fall.
